Minimum requirements: • Bachelors degree and minimum 1 year of relevant experience; or, minimum 3 years with AS/AA degree, or minimum 5 years in lieu of degree. • Experience with using GitLab for CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps deployments. • Experience with Object Oriented language • Experience with SQL Server or PostgreSQL database technologies. • U.S. citizenship required. • A current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph. Peraton is seeking a skilled Junior Full Stack Software Developer to design and build a dynamic, web-based application in Angular, Java, and PostgreSQL. Location: On-site, Washington, DC About the Mission: Technology is evolving rapidly, and adversaries are digitally out-pacing law enforcement’s ability to keep pace. This role directly supports that mission by delivering secure, scalable, and efficient software solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Design, test, and develop well-structured, efficient, and testable web-based software using Java Angular, Postgres and related technologies. • Translate UI/UX design wireframes into functional applications, ensuring reliability through ongoing maintenance, testing, and documentation. • Collaborate with customers and technical teams to translate requirements into Epics, Features, and User Stories for both functional and non-functional needs. • Support Agile teams in backlog planning, work item refinement, and story point estimation. • Apply industry-standard design patterns and best practices to software solutions. • Implement secure coding standards to safeguard applications and data. • Develop automated unit and integration tests to support CI/CD pipelines.
