Backend Developer - Java & Python

Iris's Fortune 100 direct client is looking for Backend Developer - Java & Python. Position: Backend Developer - Java & Python Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. • Design, build, and enhance RESTful APIs to support business and customer-facing applications. • Write efficient, reusable, and well-documented Java code following industry best practices. • Develop and maintain Python scripts and services for automation, data processing, and integrations. • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. • Integrate applications with databases, third-party services, and enterprise systems. • Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability across distributed environments. • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure code quality and maintainability. • Implement security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms in backend services. • Support cloud-native deployments and contribute to CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation. • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures. • Contribute to technical design discussions, system architecture improvements, and continuous innovation initiatives.
