TELECOMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: 1. Serves as the overall manager for Base Level Communications services and is responsible for the administration, engineering and operations of all telecommunications facilities and systems. 2. Responsible for the management and administration of Base Level Communications equipment and services for Installations in the Naval Support Activity Souda Area including both commercial and Defense Switched Network (DSN) services. 3. Responsible for the review of MILCON projects. 4. Manages official and unofficial funds for B1/B2 customers for the Base Communications Office. 5. Responsible for all customers billing and accounting practices and certifies and processes all invoices for payment of telephone services. Risk Management Framework (RMF) Experience, Certification & Accredidation (C&A) Experience, Cyber Security Experience, Cyber Security Workforce (CSWF) Qualified of which, the following certficates give an example of what is acceptable = ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Comptia Security +, ECCOUNCIL Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) etc. This position is within the Work Category Professional Full Performance at Work Level II, Series and Grade (Pay Band 3 GG-11-13).
