Business Analyst - Financial Systems

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field AND at least three years of progressive technical experience as Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Programmer Analyst or Database Administrator in the retail, supply chain or financial industry: OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above: OR appropriate experience that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired the knowledge and skills and abilities equivalent to that gained above. Experience in working with commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) financial applications, preferably relating to Core Financials, Budgeting and Forecasting, or retail industry; previous experience working on migration of COTS or financial application is preferred. Ability to work in a non-structured environment and create project documents without using PMO templates. A strong background in any areas of Finance, Accounting, General Ledgers, Treasury, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting and Forecasting, Credit, Procurement, and Construction Accounting is preferred. Ability to create project plans using Microsoft Project. Experience leading efforts in requirements definition, application design, testing, and implementation. Ability to develop creative process and system solutions. Ability to utilize software to create test scripts and track systems defects. Understand the uses of basic SQL commands. At least 3-5 years of experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware or Oracle Financials (On-prem/Cloud) is preferred. Must possess excellent analytical skills, logic skills, and presentation skills. Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to use all Microsoft computer applications. As an authorized and privileged user of Department of Defense Information Systems must possess or receive Information Assurance awareness by completing the Security+ Certification as a condition of access within six months of employment and thereafter must complete annual Information Assurance awareness training.
