Data Modeler

At TechBiz Global, we provide recruitment services to our top-tier clients across multiple industries. We are currently seeking a Data Modeler to join our client’s team and drive the design, development, and optimization of enterprise data models.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all activities defining client business data assets in alignment with the Client Data & Analytics Strategy.
Influence and contribute to the client’s Data & Analytics Strategy to drive business outcomes.
Discover and document data and analytics requirements across the enterprise.
Design and implement data models using tools like Visio or Erwin, including dimensional modeling, star schema, snowflake schema, and data vault.
Create mapping documents and coordinate with ETL and testing teams for implementation.
Interact with architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather, validate, and obtain signoffs on requirements.
Manage multiple initiatives and projects from inception to delivery.
Maximize value from data and analytics by surfacing priorities and enhancing decision-making.
Conduct business data modeling and enable enterprise data management.
Ensure the security of data and analytic assets.
Improve Datahub performance and ensure optimal data architecture and solution design.
Requirements
Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 8 years in IT, with at least 3 years in information system design or data architecture.
Hands-on experience in designing and implementing information solutions, including transactional modeling, dimensional modeling (star schema, data vault).
Experience managing multiple projects or initiatives from start to finish.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of data warehouse design, data architecture, and enterprise data management programs.
Proficiency in data modeling tools (Visio, Erwin) and creating mapping documents for ETL.
Ability to design, adjust, and justify data models on the fly.
Leadership & Soft Skills:
Strong leadership and people management experience, capable of inspiring and coaching teams.
Ability to analyze project, program, and portfolio needs, overcome cross-functional barriers.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
Strategic thinker with analytical, problem-solving, resilient, and results-focused mindset.
High standards of business ethics, cultural awareness, and emotional intelligence.
Desirable: Hands-on experience with data and analytics management programs.
Passion for contributing to the organization’s mission and growing a leading global investment company.
