Contract Price/Cost Analyst

You may qualify at the NH -04 Broadband Level, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03/GS-13 grade level in the Federal service as listed below: Candidates must meet at least 2 of the 3 specialized experience requirements: Experience evaluating contractor proposals, including performing detailed analysis on individual elements of cost and fee/profit, analyzing cost factors and trends, and developing documentation to substantiate government cost/negotiation positions. Experience applying Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) part 15, Department of Defense (DoD) Supplement part 215, and associated statutes, regulations, policies and procedures. Experience with use of negotiation techniques and the ability to meet and deal with representatives of the private sector and with Government experts of managers sufficient to procure extensive services and complex systems and equipment. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
