Administrative Officer

To qualify for this position at the FV-F/FG/GS-5-9, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess one-year specialized experience equivalent to the FV-E/FG-4 level in Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience may include but not limited to applying administrative practices and procedures, gathering administrative and technical data from a variety of sources, and assisting with managing projects and programs. OR Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, gained from an accredited college or university OR Combination of education and experience may be qualifying for this position. To qualify for FV-G band you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of experience equivalent to the FV-F, FG/GS-5-9 levels. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience may include but is not limited to: Conducting research and applying policies and procedures; identifies problems and offers solutions to management. Experience with various automation software, i.e. Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point and Word. OR Education may be substituted for experience as follows: PH.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related, is qualifying. OR Combination education and experience may be qualifying for this position.
