Java / Python Back End Software Engineer | Boston | Investment Bank | $120,000–$160,000 + Bonus & Benefits | Hybrid On-site (3 Days) | US Citizens & Green Card Holders Only Our client, an investment bank is looking to hire several Mid to Senior Backend Software Engineers to join their Boston team focused on modernising one of the bank’s core legacy platforms. This is a great opportunity for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical problems and want to play a hands-on technical leadership role. You will architect and develop strategic, high-performance systems that connect to trillions of dollars in global liquidity and capital. They’re are looking for strong engineers who can think critically, build scalable solutions and mentor those around them. The role is a mix of hands-on development and technical leadership. You’ll be expected to carry out code reviews, support and mentor more junior engineers and still be very much involved in designing, building and shipping code yourself. From a technical perspective, they’re looking for strong experience with: • Java • Kafka • Kubernetes, particularly for deploying Microservices • Cloud technologies (Azure would be the preference) • Cucumber for BDD and automated testing If you are interested to learn more, please send a CV for immediate consideration.
