Environmental Program Manager

BASIC EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Applicants must meet A or B to satisfy the basic education requirement for Biologist. A. Degree: biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR B. Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the specialized experience listed below: GS-11 Experience: You qualify for this position if you have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in Federal Service. For this position Specialized experience is defined as organizing, coordinating, and/or evaluating public participation in a science research program, including projects that include collaboration with scientists, training of citizen scientists, volunteer management data management and collection, and liaising with stakeholders, schools, or other professional organizations. Has experience collecting, managing, and reporting data for scientific research and public outreach.
