Basic Qualifications: In order to meet basic qualifications for GS-2210 positions, individuals must have IT related experience demonstrating each of the competencies defined below: Attention to Detail: Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Oral Communication: Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. Problem Solving: Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. Specialized Experience Requirements: In addition to demonstrating the basic qualifications listed above, applicants must also demonstrate possession of specialized experience. A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level NQ-02 or GS-12 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting ALL of the following: Supporting a complex or sensitive cybersecurity program; interpreting and applying cybersecurity policies, directives, and regulatory requirements; Conducting or leading cybersecurity audits, compliance reviews, vulnerability assessments, or risk analyses; and Identifying Information Technology system vulnerabilities and recommending corrective actions.
