GLOBAL FORCE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the 12 grade level in the Federal service: Expert understanding of National Security Strategy, National Military Strategy, Global Naval Force Presence Policy (GNFPP), Global Military Force Presence Policy (GMFPP), Department of Defense and Joint Chief of Staff policies and guidance. Proven ability to perform strategic and operational-level planning and execution for Operations in the Information Environment. Adept at resolving conflicts, exchanging ideas, and coordinating policies within the Department of Defense and across other federal agencies. Expert knowledge and understanding of national security and Global Force Management policies and guidance, the developmental process and interrelationships within the Department of Defense to shape planning with joint forces worldwide. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. for this position.
