JOB SUMMARY A data scientist is a statistical analyst who have working experience in the field of data science. Work with other data scientists, ML Ops team, R&D team, Business users team in collecting, analyzing, interpret data sets and build AI/ML models to drive optimization and improvement of product development. As part of the company's AI/ML team member, data scientist is required to provide help in developing custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets. Data scientist must also coordinate with different functional teams to implement AI/ML and monitor outcomes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Identifies and analyzes patterns in the volume of data supporting the initiative, the type of data (e.g., 2D&3D images data) and the speed or sudden variations in data collection • Educates the organization both from IT and the business perspectives on new approaches, such as testing hypotheses and statistical validation of results • Works with IT teams to support data collection, integration, model training, deployment, monitoring and retention requirements based on the input collected with the business • Work with related team to design or build dashboards using tools like power BI, Grafana etc. • Conducts basic data analysis JOB QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS • Knowledge on using Python for image processing example OpenCV, scikit image or augmentations. • Knowledge on using Python for data processing example Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn. • Knowledge on using Python for machine learning tools example pytorch, tensorflow, keras, scikit-learn • Basic understand on image classification/object detection/segmentation/image processing. • Able to communicate with teammate and work together with teammate to troubleshooting and resolve problems. Strong team mentality, interpersonal and communications skills • Able to cross-work with other teams, good collaboration and co-operation abilities • Cloud techniques development experience is plus • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in teams and under pressure. Multi-lingual capability is a plus • Highly motivated and creative, thinking “out of the box” • Enthusiasm and ability to seek out and learn new technologies and algorithms outside of your immediate toolset/knowledge to solve business problems where required EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE • People who are taking his/her Bachelor or above degree in Computer Vision, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics or Statistics etc. • 1 years or above experience of Computer Vision AI experience is preferred
