The Vehicle Networking Engineer will be a key member of the Communication Protocol and Hardware team. The role is responsible for end-to-end networking validation across vehicle lines, covering both data link and physical layer aspects of in-vehicle communication systems.

  • Vehicle Networking Validation (Vehicle & ECU level)
  • CAN, CAN FD, LIN
  • FlexRay
  • Automotive Ethernet
  • CANoe Trace Analysis
  • Network Debugging & Root Cause Analysis
  • Partial Networking
  • Network Management
  • Physical Layer Testing
  • CAPL / Python (Test Automation)

Tasks

  • Design and implement communication protocols for vehicle networking systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing hardware components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and validate hardware interfaces that meet functional safety standards and industry norms.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex networking issues in automotive environments, providing innovative solutions to enhance system reliability and performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in communication technologies and embedded systems to propose and integrate cutting-edge innovations.
  • Document and maintain comprehensive technical specifications and reports, facilitating knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the engineering team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Proven experience with vehicle networking communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, or Ethernet
  • Strong understanding of embedded systems and hardware integration
  • Experience in software development for automotive applications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
