Come join us.</p></div><p><strong>About this Role:</strong></p> <p>The Senior Executive Assistant provides strategic administrative partnership to the General Manager, SVP, EMEA, while also supporting additional members of the EMEA leadership team, including coordination of travel, meetings, and regional initiatives for other senior leaders as needed.</p> <p>This role extends beyond traditional executive support by serving as a trusted operational partner who helps drive communication, coordination, and execution across the EMEA organization. They anticipate needs, solve challenges before they arise, and contribute meaningfully to the success of both their executives and the broader business.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do as the Senior Executive Assistant to the CMO:</strong></p> <h3>Executive Partnership</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Manage complex executive calendars, ensuring priorities are aligned with business objectives and making thoughtful recommendations on time allocation.</p> </li> <li> <p>Coordinate domestic and international travel for supported executives while balancing evolving business priorities.</p> </li> <li> <p>Manage expense reporting accurately and efficiently.</p> </li> <li> <p>Prepare agendas, presentations, briefing materials, and documentation for executive and leadership meetings.</p> </li> <li> <p>Capture meeting notes, distribute action items, and track follow-up to completion.</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Business Operations &amp; Regional Coordination</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Serve as a trusted operational partner to the General Manager, SVP, EMEA and members of the EMEA leadership team.</p> </li> <li> <p>Coordinate communication across EMEA leadership, global cross-functional partners, and external stakeholders.</p> </li> <li> <p>Support planning and execution of regional leadership meetings, customer engagements, executive visits, offsites, and key business events.</p> </li> <li> <p>Support cross-regional initiatives and operational programs that span multiple organizations.</p> </li> <li> <p>Assist with marketing and GTM events across EMEA as needed.</p> </li> <li> <p>Facilitate effective communication to ensure important information is shared consistently across the EMEA region.</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Strategic Partnership</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Develop a strong understanding of the EMEA business, organizational priorities, leadership team, and operating rhythms.</p> </li> <li> <p>Anticipate executive and business needs by thinking ahead and identifying potential risks or conflicts before they arise.</p> </li> <li> <p>Recommend process improvements that increase operational efficiency and improve collaboration.</p> </li> <li> <p>Coordinate follow-up across multiple stakeholders to ensure key initiatives continue moving forward.</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Office &amp; Team Support</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Support London office initiatives and executive visits.</p> </li> <li> <p>Partner closely with Executive Assistants and Business Partners across the company to ensure seamless coordination across regions.</p> </li> <li> <p>Contribute as an active member of Fastly's administrative community, sharing best practices and supporting team success.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>What We're Looking For:&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>We're seeking an experienced, highly organized, and proactive Senior Executive Assistant who enjoys becoming deeply integrated into the business they support.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.</p> </li> <li> <p>Thrive managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.</p> </li> <li> <p>Anticipate future needs, think strategically, and proactively solve problems before they become obstacles.</p> </li> <li> <p>Possess strong business curiosity and an analytical mindset to understand the business, its priorities, and the people they support.</p> </li> <li> <p>Have outstanding organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.</p> </li> <li> <p>Be adaptable and comfortable navigating ambiguity while maintaining focus on key priorities.</p> </li> <li> <p>Demonstrate confidence using technology and collaboration tools to improve workflows and increase efficiency.</p> </li> <li> <p>Handle confidential information with the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.</p> </li> <li> <p>Partner effectively across cross-functional teams while maintaining strong executive presence and sound judgment.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>5+ years of experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced technology company.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience supporting Sales, Go-to-Market, Customer, or other revenue organizations.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience working across multiple countries and time zones within a global organization.</p> </li> <li> <p>Demonstrated success coordinating executive meetings, leadership offsites, customer engagements, and regional events.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, Coupa, and other modern workplace technologies.</p> </li> <li> <p>Business Administration qualification or equivalent professional experience preferred.</p> </li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>Why Fastly?</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p><strong>We have a huge impact.</strong>&nbsp;Fastly is a small company with a big reach.
