Role Summary
EQ is seeking a qualified Securities Operations Senior to join our team in the NYC metropolitan area. This position is open for remote work***
The Securities Operations Senior is part of the Validation Team. We need passionate and engaged individuals to help us build a team that can lead EQ to the same success in the US that it has had in the rest of the world.
Core Duties/Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing time sensitive/complex shareholder and client documents before processing
- Ensure data is accurate before processed into the system
- May provide training or work direction to junior level staff
- Provides back-up for other operations teams as needed
- May include overtime hours, as needed, when volume increases
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm hours
Skills, Capabilities and Attributes
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills and behaviors:
- 3+ years of experience in one or a combination in customer service, operations, financial services, accounting, business processing, analytical, financial or clerical
- Securities experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Ability to work independently, proactively, innovatively, and creatively while exercising sound judgment
Compensation
We offer a base rate in the range of $22.00 - $24.00 hourly, commensurate with experience and location.
