Role Description The Business Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. This position oversees day-to-day operational activities, including planning and coordinating renovation and capital projects, optimizing workflows, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. The role includes monitoring financial performance, supporting budgeting and cost control, quoting, and analyzing operational data to improve efficiency and quality. The Business Operations Manager collaborates closely with project managers, site supervisors, and senior leadership to align business processes with company goals, maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and enhance client satisfaction. The role also involves developing and refining operational policies, supporting resource allocation, and contributing to strategic initiatives that drive growth. Qualifications • Strong Business Operations and Operations Management skills, with experience overseeing day-to-day activities in a project-based or construction-related environment.3-5 years experience in Commerical and MultiResidential renovations is a must. • Demonstrated Analytical Skills to interpret data, track key performance indicators, and support data-informed decision-making. • Program Management capabilities to coordinate multiple projects, manage timelines, and ensure cross-functional alignment. • Finance skills to support budgeting, cost control, and basic financial analysis related to project and operational performance. • Proven leadership and people management abilities, including team coordination, performance coaching, and conflict resolution. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. • Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, clients, and vendors. • Experience in construction, property management, or related industries is an asset. • Proficiency with business software tools (e.g., spreadsheets, project management platforms, and reporting systems,2020, etc). • Post-secondary education in Business, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
