GS-12 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing or maintaining strategic plans; assessing policy needs; identifying and addressing workforce planning and management issues; preparing budgets; and project management. In addition to the specialized experience your resume must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: conducting audits of IT and communications programs, developing policies, and providing policy guidance. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: identifying and refining user requirements to establish plans for current and future IT needs, coordinating new requirements with various services, agencies, and organizations. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Maintains a channel of communication with all activities concerned to receive comments, provide explanation, and resolve issues as project manager. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: conducts technical inspections for projects in progress and during operation testing, ensures compliance with requirements and specifications, and develops technical solutions to various IT and communications problems. Conditions of Employment Continued -This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required. -You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases. -This position has been designated as a Cyber Workforce position in the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) role and, as a condition of employment, the incumbent of the position is required to maintain qualifications in accordance with DON Cyber Workforce Program requirements of SECNAV M-5239.2. This designation requires: 1. The incumbent participate in a continuous learning (CL) program as described in SECNAV 5239.20A and SECNAV M-5239.2. An annual 40 hour minimum of Cyber Workforce related continuous learning must be documented in a current individual development plan signed by both the employee and supervisor. 2. The incumbent must obtain the required credentials within 12 months of appointment and maintain those credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for DCWF role of (641)(Systems Req.
