Role Type: Contractor

micro1 is engaging Finance Specialists to contribute to a unique AI agent project supporting a customer's initiative. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. This opportunity specifically seeks professionals who can share authentic, expert-authored financial documents, providing the depth and rigor only true practitioners can offer. Contribution emphasizes quality, originality, and clarity — including well-structured analysis, comprehensive visual elements, and evidence of technical excellence.

Scope of Work

  1. Submit original, self-produced financial documents such as reports, investment analyses, valuation models, or internal memos as PDFs or Word files.
  2. Ensure each submission features multimodal content — tables, charts, figures, diagrams, or data visualizations that enhance the analytical value.
  3. Demonstrate substantial domain expertise and depth in financial analysis, modeling, or reporting throughout all contributions.
  4. Maintain the highest standards of accuracy, proper sourcing, and professional polish in every document provided.
  5. Provide a range of document lengths (ideally between 10 and 100 pages) to capture both comprehensive reports and focused analyses.
  6. Engage in clear, professional written and verbal communication as needed for project alignment and Q&A.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Proven track record of creating in-depth financial documentation for industry, academic, or internal business use.
  2. Advanced skills in financial analysis, quantitative modeling, and data-driven storytelling.
  3. Experience presenting complex information using rich visualizations and well-structured reports.
  4. Strong attention to accuracy, detail, and disciplined sourcing practices in all deliverables.
  5. Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities, with demonstrated clarity and professionalism.
  6. Background as a finance professional, consultant, analyst, or academic with access to original, high-quality materials.
  7. Familiarity with compliance standards related to financial documentation and reporting is a plus.
