About the Role

As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for persistently following up with insurance companies and adjusters to ensure timely payment for services rendered. This role is central to maintaining healthy cash flow, resolving invoice-related issues, and supporting operational efficiency through accurate communication and account management.

This is an ideal opportunity for a highly organized and motivated professional who is comfortable handling outbound communication, navigating payment disputes, and managing multiple follow-up activities in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow up with insurance companies and adjusters regarding outstanding payments
  • Resolve invoice-related inquiries and payment disputes in a professional manner
  • Maintain detailed and accurate communication records within CRM systems
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure invoices are processed correctly
  • Handle minor escalations and assist in resolving billing discrepancies
  • Manage multiple accounts and follow-up schedules efficiently
  • Communicate consistently with clients, carriers, and team members to ensure timely resolution
  • Support overall collections performance and operational goals

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an insurance adjuster and/or collections professional required
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow-ups
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and persistently pursuing payment resolution
  • Proficiency with CRM software, invoicing systems, and Google Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a remote team environment
