This is a remote position.

Job Summary

The engagement is for a Senior Business Analyst / Builder to support the MEDITECH Expanse Upgrade Project. The role focuses on building and configuring MEDITECH Expanse Core Clinical and Ancillary modules, supporting testing activities, collaborating with cross-functional healthcare teams, and ensuring alignment with clinical workflows and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build designed orders and order sets within MEDITECH Expanse Advanced Clinicals
  • Support MEDITECH Core Clinical and Ancillary module implementations
  • Analyze cross-stream impacts across teams and workflows
  • Participate in test case design, execution, defect reporting, and validation
  • Advise project teams on technical and functional impacts within MEDITECH Expanse
  • Collaborate with governance groups and working committees
  • Present recommendations and alternate solution approaches
  • Track and communicate project risks, issues, and progress to leadership
  • Work closely with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders
  • Ensure knowledge transfer to internal Fraser Health resources throughout the engagement

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Core MEDITECH Experience

  • Strong experience with MEDITECH Expanse
  • Experience as a Senior BA/Builder in healthcare implementations
  • Experience with MEDITECH Advanced Clinicals
  • Experience building orders and order sets
  • Experience working on large-scale EHR projects

Clinical Domain Knowledge

Experience in one or more of the following:

  • Nursing and Allied Health Documentation
  • Emergency Module
  • Medication Verification
  • Clinical Decision Support
  • Patient Access (ADT, Registration, Scheduling)
  • Order Management
  • Provider Documentation
  • Ambulatory / Primary Care
  • LAB
  • Pharmacy
  • Medical Imaging
  • Advanced Clinical Functionality

Tools & Technical Skills

  • MS Office
  • MS Visio
  • MS Project
  • JIRA (preferred)

Healthcare Industry Experience

  • BC healthcare governance and shared services understanding
  • Digital health / healthcare environment experience
  • Experience in complex healthcare transformation programs
