To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com What You’ll Be Doing  The Controllership group provides finance services to CIBC’s businesses through effective governance and decision support processes. These services include financial, management and regulatory reporting, maintenance of accounting records, financial analysis and planning, tax planning and compliance, treasury, investor relations, and regular reviews of business line performance. As a Business Analyst, you will be involved in Finance’s process improvement program, development of new or existing Controllership , Capital Markets and Wholesale Banking initiatives and assisting Middle Office analysts on maintaining existing processes and development of new reports and testing of new systems or databases to ensure accuracy and completeness. Depending on the project, you may also provide support to Front Office, Risk Management and Finance and interact with business partners (all levels). You will be participating in team meetings and are also encouraged to provide input on improvement opportunities on existing processes. You have strong working knowledge of database design, DB management, and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on advanced Excel (including VBA and designing libraries) or programming such as Java, PHP or Python. It's an asset if have experience using VBA, SQL, VB.net, Java, MS Visio, HTML 5 and C# Values matter to you.
